[求助]About your working speed on SETI

After I have been browsing this forum for a while, I noticed that all of you can finish off a WU in just a peroid of short time <5 hrs. But my working time will be about 30 hrs =.=. I am wondering how can you be so fast, so can anybody teach me how to increase my working speed?
My config:
Asus P4B266C
Intel Northwood 2.0Ghz oc 2.28Ghz
TWO 256MB ram=512 MB (333mhz, non-dual)
Inno3d GF5500
Maxtor 8mb 80GB
Win XP SP1

can you list your configuration of SETI?

SETI@Home Client is independent of VGA card maybe

Well, for a CPU like Intel Northwood 2.0Ghz oc 2.28Ghz, a WU will normally be finished in 3 hours.

So, you may have ran other programs which occupy much computing ability.

My configuration:
CPU:C1.7G
RAM:256M
My rate:7.5h/wu

U`re using SETI@home for windows.

I used commandline version!

CPU:Centrino 1.6GHz
RAM:512MB
OS:Windows XP SP2

rate:2.25 hour/wu

use commandline version
use faster cpu
run it all the time when your computer is up
then no need to worry about the speed
