Welcome to Bitcoin Utopia!
Shortly, Bitcoin Utopia is a platform for crowdfunding public innovation awards with bitcoins.
In more detail: Well, this project is not exactly crunching science results. Instead, it is crunching hash calculations to mine bitcoins. The bitcoins will go to crowdfund innovation competition awards. I haven't yet found an organization which would like to raise the money for their award on Bitcoin Utopia.
For inspiration I have made a huge list of potential (crowdfundable) awards. The list is in the bottom of the project page. This is also an interesting list of innovation awards.
Can you help me to find an organization willing to raise money for a public innovation award?
I have already seen hash rates of 93.06 Mhash/s!
This is the money raised so far for project #0. When "confirmed_rewards" hits 0.01 (or more), the bitcoins will go from the pool to the bitcoin wallet of the project. The amount of money (crowdfunding received) in the project #0 wallet can be found here.

看了半天没看太懂，哪个翻译家好心给我看看？主要是弄不懂“crowdfunding public innovation awards”是个鸟活动。
总之嘛，就是挖矿的…… 而且好像是给别人挖。
