Just wrapped up our monthly call with the SCC researchers.
1. Additional work units - We've downloaded all currently known work units, and the tech team thinks we have enough work for roughly 20-25 days.
2. The work units that most volunteers are running right now are being completed much more quickly. This is because they're looking at a different protein.
3. The researchers are still deciding which targets they will submit to WCG next. There should be a decision and new work units being built in the next few weeks. We'll let everyone know if there will be a break in the project--hopefully it will be a short one--and there may be a beta test.
Here's a summary of the work unit progress to-date:

In Progress: 319 batches (5.284,896 work units)
Completed: 3,367 batches, 42 batches in the last 30 days, average of 1.4 batches per day
*NOTE - The researchers are building more batches--we let them know that we don't currently have any waiting to be downloaded. The researchers do not have an estimate of how many total batches they will be submitting for the project.
