Hello all,
I wanna share this light weight diskless folding client with you, only 20MB, you can use it via a flash drive, CD/DVD, or PXE net boot,
It's a diskless linux with F@H v6.34 client, sorry that there is no manual, but it's not hard to use, I think you can handle it,
usage ( please choose one of them):
folding_cd.iso http://good.gd/2930485.htm
use iso tool like UltraISO or something to edit the file 'ISOLINUX.CFG' in ityou need to set your own username, team and passkey, or some other configs and then just brun it on a disk or use tool like UltraISO to write on a flash disk
usb.zip http://good.gd/2930487.htm
extract it, put the files in a fat32 format flash drive, and use syslinux to make it bootable
you need to set your own username, team and passkey, or some other configs by editing the file 'syslinux.cfg'
syslinux usage(unzip first) : http://good.gd/2930488.htm
- open command line in the same directory as syslinux.exe
- syslinux.exe e:
(e is the drive's letter)
netboot.zip http://good.gd/2930486.htm
as usb.zip & folding_cd.iso, you need to edit pxelinux.cfg to set your own username, team and passkey, or some other configs or you already have your own pxe config, just copy the configs into yours and other works just put the files in the right directory, it's complex for new, but if you choose this method, I believe you knew how to do!
than you can boot with the way you like, once the system is loaded into memory, you can remove the disk/flash drive! no disk is needed!
It will use dhcp to get on the internet(if you don't set it manually), and you can use a browser to check the status and control it!
Any suggestions or feedbacks are welcome!
Thanks
