The Einstein@Home project went off-line because of an air-conditioning failure on May 28. We are working to get the project back up and running and hope to have it fully functional in the next day or two.

项目在28日因为空调故障暂停，希望能在一到两天内恢复。

We are making good progress in restarting the project. Now that the web pages are up, we will first enable file uploads and then enable the scheduler. It may be some hours before we are again handing out new work and everything is functioning normally. We'll post further reports here when we have more news.

恢复过程正在顺利进行中。网站和文件上传都已经启动，之后会启动调度服务。大概还需要几个小时才会开始分发新任务包。如果有进一步的消息我们将在这里张贴出来。

Einstein@Home is back up and running. Because of the backlog of work that has been completed by YOUR computers in the past few days, our systems may be somewhat slow at uploading this completed work and handing out new work. So please be patient if it takes a bit of time before your computers are busy crunching away! Note: experience shows that recovery from this type of 'hard' failure can take some time; there may be new problems that appear, which may require rapid shut-down and additional corrective action at our end. But we will try hard to avoid this if possible.

项目已经恢复。因为大家在过去几天完成的任务都将在短期内集中上传，系统将会比较慢。甚至可能会出现新的问题，以至需要服务端的临时关闭及修复。我们将尽力避免这种情况。

Thank you for your patience: Einstein@Home is now running normally again. Over the weekend some additional construction/repair work will be done. This work has been planned so as not to interfere with the project. However if something does go wrong we may be 'off the air' again, at least briefly. We will try hard to prevent this from happening.

感谢大家的耐心等候，项目已经正常运行了。这个周末将进行一些附加的修复工作。计划中应该是不会对项目造成影响的，但万一出问题的话，项目仍有可能暂停，即使是很短暂的。我们将尽量避免这种情况的发生。

We had another unplanned outage today (approximately one hour) because power was disconnected from our UPS systems for too long. The project is back up and running normally.

因为UPS的问题，今天又在计划外停机了一小时。目前已经恢复正常。

Einstein@Home is currently down due to the database server failing. We are working to bring the database server back online as soon as possible.

项目停机：数据库服务器出问题了，我们正在解决。

Einstein@Home has begun processing of a small number of test workunits using data from the LIGO S5 science run. This is the first LIGO data collected at the instrument's design sensitivity. We'll post more information in the 'Cruncher's corner' message board area as we begin to create more of these workunits.
