我用RH8+PIII 1.26G+setiathome-3.03.i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1，相同的wu比windows慢20分钟。

f@h可以打开汇编优化，有效利用运算能力，相差应该不会很大。

对了还有一个忠告（不能算加速技巧）

在去一些flash满天飞的网站时，会造成seti运算速度下滑（包括2000和xp）。
最多的一次我的机器速度慢了3成。对付这些网站的办法是，将网站列入防火墙软件不信任列表或ie里的受限站点，禁止运行active x。
这样就可以上网seti两不误。

是简化版的 Mozilla。非常轻巧，也不会有 IE 的毛病，网页病毒什么的。
