fightAIDS@home
介绍
fightAIDS@home 是首先作为生物医药方面的分布式项目启动并运行的。它由 Scripps 研究学会主持，由 Olson 实验室管理，并且使用您的计算机进行基础研究，以增进科学家对艾滋病的理解。您的 CPU 可以帮助科学家研究变异了的艾滋病毒以便从数以百计的化合物中找到可以对抗它的药物。而在以前要做到这些必须使用昂贵的超级计算机。 fightAIDS@home 借由您的计算机连接到全球的“网格”，加速对艾滋病的研究。
参加方法
该项目已自 2005年 11 月 19 日起加入World Community Grid分布式计算平台，其原有客户端已停止运作。新用户可到 World Community Grid 项目的官方网站注册和下载客户端。
