WCG 现在正是推出清洁能源项目第二阶段的 Linux 版本（CEP2），该项目是有美国马萨诸塞州剑桥的哈佛大学化学与生物化学部门主办，希望能找到有前景的有机太阳能电池新材料。

    At launch time, work units are only available for Linux users. Work units for Mac and Windows users are currently scheduled to be released prior to July 17, 2010. Additionally, the distribution of work units is limited to computers that have upload and download speeds of 1 Mbps or higher.

2010年7月17日开始向Windows用户供应任务包。但是，该项目的任务包对参与者有限制，参与者的上传和下载速度需不低于1Mbps.

500,000,000 Results Returned to Accelerate Research!

Congratulations Members! We are very excited to announce that World Community Grid volunteers have now returned more than 500 Million results! Results are what come out of each unit of work that you "crunch" on your computer and are sent to the researchers for analysis. At the present time, members are returning approximately 6 results to World Community Grid every second!!!

Our sincerest appreciation goes out to the 520,000+ registered members who run World Community Grid on their computers. These computers have provided more than 380,000 years of run time toward important research. We are extremely grateful for your contributions. Without them, this compute power would not be available for the very important research work we are helping to accelerate.

World Community Grid, a worldwide network of PC owners helping scientists solve humanitarian challenges, today announced several computing projects aimed at developing techniques to produce cleaner and safer water, an increasingly scarce commodity eluding at least 1.2 billion people worldwide.

包括清水项目在内，wcg一口气公布了三个新的洁净水相关的项目，详细的报导见上面给的链接，一个是弗吉尼亚大学的项目，模拟特定环境下人类行为和生态系统过程之间的相互影响，一个清华大学的项目，研究如何利用纳米技术得到更有效、更廉价的水过滤设施，最后一个是巴西的项目（三个项目三个大洲），研究由不洁净水导致的一些疾病的治疗方法。

关于清水项目，报导中特别指出，虽然是清华大学发起的项目，但项目方的成员还包括澳洲的两所大学以及瑞士的一个公众科学机构。

FAAH work unit issue
There is a problem with the new work units for FAAH which will cause the following error immediately after processing is started:

autogrid: Unknown receptor type: "A"
-- Add parameters for it to the parameter library first!

Until the problem has been resolved, work units for FAAH are no longer being sent out.
大意：
FAAH出问题了。程序一启动就报错。现在暂停FAAH项目，直至问题解决。

We have resumed sending work out to the members for this project. We will watch for errors but the problem should be fixed.
