if you do not define any folding slots the client will try to choose a good configuration for you automatically. so you can safely ignore this section.如果你不设置任何线程，客户会自动进行好的设置（客户端会自动进行设置）.因此你可以安全地忽略这部分。
folding slots can be one of three types,uniprocessor, smp or gpu. representing the different types of folding cores. expert user can configure many details of each solt but that is usually not necessary.线程有三种类型,单核,smp或gpu.代表不同类型的模拟核心.专家用户可以进行详细设置,但是在通常情况下不需要。

fahcore priority  FAH核心优先级（系统资源占用）
lowest possible(recommended)  尽可能低（推荐）
slightly higher. use this if other distributed computing applications are stopping folding@home from running.略高。如果其他分布式计算的应用程序正在阻碍folding@home运行，请使用该选项。

percent cpu usage  CPU占用率
instruct folding@home cores to only ues this percentage of available CPU.(100% is recommended)限制FAH核心最高的CPU占用率。（推荐设置为100%）

checkpointing frequency 检查点频率（自动保存时间） min  分钟

optimizations  优化
disable highly optimized assembly code. useful if core fails to run because of unsupported instructions.禁用高度优化的汇编代码。如果内核因不支持的指令而出现故障时使用。
try to lock cores to a specific CPU. also known as CPU affinity locking.尝试锁定到一个特定的CPU内核。也称为CPU关联锁定。（锁定到单个核心）

Power 电源
pause work while on battery power. this is useful for laptops.使用电池时暂停，对笔记本电脑有效。
verbosity 赘言（日志详细度）
set log verbosity level. level 0 turns off all but errors and warnings. levels 1 to 5 add increasingly more detail to the log. level 3 is recommended.设置日志输出的详细程度。0级除错误和警告外关闭所有。1级至5级详细日志越来越详细。推荐为3级。

Command -> FAHControl can give instructions on how the FAHViewer starts (See this section).就是控制FAHViewer的启动参数




Ball And Stick

This is available under Basic Mode. It requires OpenGL version 1.1.

Stick

This is available under Basic Mode. It requires OpenGL version 1.1.

Cartoon Space Filling

This is not available under Basic Mode. It requires OpenGL version 2.0 or higher.

Cartoon Ball And Stick

This is not available under Basic Mode. It requires OpenGL version 2.0 or higher.

这几个渲染方式就是效果不一样。。。。







Cycle Snapshots -> This option tells the FAHViewer to cycling back and forth through snapshots when it more than one is present.

Snapshots -> Snapshots are the momentary images of the protein that the FahCores provides to the FAHViewer.


   我觉得Cycle Snapshots应该就是当有好几个core在运行的时候，Viewer的蛋白质图像在几个core之间切换的意思
