星的轨道离冥王星有44000公里远，是第一个卫星Charon的两倍多远，它们也比Charon暗5
000倍。新的卫星是用哈勃望远镜发现的。到目前为止，冥王星是Kuiper带天体中唯一一个
已知有卫星的。
