We are living in the Energy Century. The fossil fuel based economy of the present must give way to the renewable energy based economy of the future. Getting there is the grandest challenge humanity faces. Chemistry will help meet this challenge by discovering new materials that harvest solar radiation, store energy for deferred use, and reconvert stored energy when needed.
我们生活在一个能源世纪。未来，可再生能源为基础的经济必定代替目前以化石燃料（指煤、石油等）为基础的经济。这对于我们每个人，都是一个巨大的挑战。化学将有助于我们迎接这一挑战，发现新的材料，收获太阳能贮存延期使用。
The Clean Energy project uses computational chemistry and the willingness of the people to look for the best molecules to fulfill these roles: organic photovoltaics for producing unexpensive solar cells, polymers for membranes to be used in fuel cells, how to assemble them? By helping us search combinatorially among thousands of potential systems, you can contribute to this effort.
清洁能源项目，借助于计算化学和志愿者，来寻找最佳的分子以实现这些：用有机光电池来生产价格低廉的太阳能电池，用聚合物薄膜制造燃料电池……但是该如何装配他们呢? 通过帮助我们一起在数以千计的潜在的系统之中搜寻。你也可以为此尽一份力！
