The Einstein@Home project has started a new search for binary radio pulsars in data from the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico. This will run in parallel with the existing search for gravitational waves from rapidly-spinning neutron stars. Please see this press release for more information. Einstein@Home is down due to a fileserver crash. We are working to bring the project back online ASAP. UPDATE: Fri Mar 27 22:39:13 UTC 2009 The filesystem needs to be repaired so the project will likely be down for at least 12 more hours. Thank you for your patience.

把班主任在学校的电脑拉来计算E@H了. 虽然项目服务器出了问题,不过那台机器上还是存了一些任务包的.而且那台机器并不是每天都开机,所以不急.
自己的机器目前主攻WCG和rosetta

The filesystem problems were worse than originally thought and repairs have taken significantly
longer.  Hopefully E@H will start to come online again by 17:00 Monday UTC but if that does not
happen more news will be posted here at that time.

The Einstein@Home project suffered a fileserver crash on Friday March 27 and had more than two days of downtime as a result. The project is running again now and we hope the problems are behind us.

E@H has been experiencing load problems on the database server for most of this weekend. We are still working to try and get the project back to normal.

本周末大部分时候项目的数据库服务器出现了负荷问题，我们仍在努力解决中。

We still have serious problems with our database and are working on it. For the moment we disabled the scheduler to let the rest of the daemons work through the backlogs, i.e. no work is sent out or can be reported.

数据库仍有严重问题，我们正常努力解决它，另外，为了先处理掉积压的任务，我们暂停了调度服务程序，也就是说大家将暂时下载不到新的任务，也不能上报已经完成的任务。
