2张3080TI不能使用同一CPU下的PCIE [怀疑主板老化\延长线异常]

一步一步逐步排查，目前高度怀疑是延长线问题

PCIE3.0 X16转X16的延长线60CM长度，使用正常；
PCIE3.0 X8转X16延长线30CM，再转PCIE3.0 X16转X16的延长线40CM长度，使用异常；进不去系统（仅作为唯一显卡时）或使用负载明显偏低。

已经订货延长线了，估计下周能到货，到时候看看效果。


目前继续使用CPU的一个PCIE3.0 X8 和  PCH的 PCIE3.0 X4跑，X4比X8大约损失约10%PPD；

同时目前严重怀疑PCIE3.0 X8 带宽已经是瓶颈

看了折叠论坛 » 查看主题 - PCIE 2.0 板上的 RTX 3080？好主意还是坏主意？ (foldingforum.org)后，更感觉被X11SPL-F的PCIE3.0 X8坑了。

另，在帖子Folding Forum • View topic - GPU Starved?中：  网站管理员明确告知GPU负载与 PCIe lanes and their speed有关。

[size=1.3em]GPU usage is partly influenced by the size of the WU. WUs with few atoms will usually show a lower load than those with many.

Another influence is the number of PCIe lanes and their speed. Faster, wider cards will see some throttling running on narrow connections such as 4x.

这周换了延长线，运行良好，在超微X11SPL-F 上问题已经解决了；


至于P6T，可能是主板老化的问题导致不能双卡了，单根据目前GOLD 5218的使用情况，以及FAH的CPU使用 - Folding@Home 模拟蛋白质折叠 - 中国分布式计算论坛 - Powered by Discuz! (equn.com)中关于CPU的讨论，
目前来看P6T+I7 920对于高性能GPU的Folding@Home已经失去意义了，因此不再测试这个主板了。
