大家好，请问我装的BOINC为什么不工作？

首先，我装了BOINC.4.25；然后我在http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/有一个账号，在网页上可以正常登陆，修改个人信息。最后，在Task里边Attach to new project，url添的http://setiathome.berkeley.edu，AccountKey添的发给我的email里边的Account Key。可是我连接后提示（见后面）。后来注册了Predictor@Home连接也是一样的错误。哪未大侠能帮我看一下是什么问题？谢谢。试了好多次，都 Master file fetch failed 了。

网络有问题？

你是怎么上网的？不是代理的问题吧

我在教育网内学校的实验室，国内可以直接连，国外要代理，我把BOINC里边的http代理和sock代理都添上了，可是还是报告哪个错误。确定是网络的问题，而不是BOINC的问题吗？http代理应该没有问题，我用同样的代理上google，sock是找的一个，不保证速度很快。

因为看你说的步骤应该都是对的，然后两个项目都有这个问题，所以就怀疑是网络设置方面的问题

我刚刚试了只设一个代理也不行，谁能帮我贴一个成功创建项目的完整的提示信息？他说"No
eneral preferences found"，可是我已经在程序里边设代理了，会不会是BOINC程序没有把设置写入啊？

因为项目没有attach成功，所以自然就读不到general preferences了

卸载后，重装了一下，成功了！还是不清楚问什么不能用，又突然可以用了，sigh。anyway，谢谢大家的帮忙 :D

小强

这个基本上很难解决，不知道为什么，连接setiathome的服务器特别慢，访问它的网站倒是很快，就是用boinc下载setiathome的WU和运算程序时超级慢，基本上处于停滞状态。

我这里下载climateprediction比较快，但是计算起来超慢，占用内存超过40M，预计时间超过1200小时，就是大约50天才能算一个WU。
